Is there any way to put text over any object. I have a game where players are running around
and I need to put text over there heads and have it fade away after a certain amount
of time. is this possible?

You can create a GuiTextCtrl and mount it to them, then schedule an function that fades them out and deletes them.

just a small FYI, that link points to 'Login Required' resources and does not allow everyone access to it.
