Brushes disappear... frustrating

I've been working on a curved road section for almost a week.
Something that should take 1/2 hour.
I've tried Constructor, 3DWS, and QuArK all in conjunction... here's what happens
Using about 30 cubes or 30 wedges (tried both), I'm creating a 90 degree turn by rotating the pieces.
Obviously, their corners don't line up, so from TOP view ONLY, I move the verts so they line up as best as I can.
Here is where Snap to grid working would help... also a Snap to vert would rock.
Anyway, I get them close... looks good.
Save.... looks good.
File... New.
File... Open the save.
In Wire view many pieces are gone... in ByBrush view, I can see these brushes looking like triangles folded in on themselves.
I delete them, retry and other pieces i didn't even touch since the last save do the same thing (fold on themselves).
I try to open in QuArK, which sometimes shows them as broken, sometimes they look fine inQuark.
I try to open in 3DWS, crash.
I try to open in Hammer... says it won't create any of my brushes because of errors.
Any clues....???
I'm at my wits end and I'm getting pressure to finish this roadway.
Help!

After I save .MAP and Reload... this is often different each time
CSX save and Reload
Here are a few pictures of what I am experiencing... hopefully this helps root out these issues
I am desperate for ANY competent DIF making process... been trying them all. Love Constructor, but I need to be able to save and export my work.

I think it is fair to say that the vertex editing portion of Constructor is perhaps the least mature. It is still missing a number of features and will most certainly have issues. That's why we're beta testing! :o)
For the case that Brandon is showing I suspect I know what's up and it will require a change to the CSX saving code. This will also cover some of Sumner's CSX save and Reload image issues -- the part where that blue brush's location has been shifted.
As for your first two images Sumner and the remainder of your third image, all that comes to mind are non-planar faces. Especially if a brush had a non-planar face and then you did a copy/paste or a duplicate with SHIFT+Axis Gizmo. But until we have the tools in place to flag these faces it is difficult to say. Neither the MAP nor CSX (for now) formats deal with non-planar faces very well. Once I have the fix in place with CSX file saving (and I'll try to get it into the next beta release) we can attempt to narrow down the issue.

To update:
I've made changes to the CSX loading code that helps with the case Brandon brought up. Because it was a loading issue any CSX files that had the problem of shifting brushes when loaded should automatically be fixed. Well, so long as you didn't already save the file again with brushes in their shifted position. :o)
This change will be in the next beta release for you to try out.

So, I'm currently saving to .MAP in order to get it into .DIF...
Should I be saving to .CSX...?
Any clue on when Direct to DIF exporting will be available... or will there be a way to load CSX into TGE/TSE?
Cheers!

I'm not sure if this vertex loading/saving bug has been added to the bug tracker yet..
EDIT: This has been noted twice in the bug tracker.
