Looks nice, and with multiple animation sequences and formats this is a great deal at $19. I will be getting this pack as soon as possible.

Thanks for releasing this.

Steve,

Do you have plans to release multiple skins for the horse so we can have several different horses running around? ;)

Hi

Yes i do. I plan to release a pack of skins and more animations very shortly actually. This will only cost a few dollars for registered users of the product. Im also going to release more animals too, such as farm livestock, jungle animals etc

Finally! Someone listened to me and is releasing common animals! woohoo!

Sorry, every time someone asks 'what content pack should I make?' I tell them to knock out some common animals.

The only thing I'd ask is that a pack be made that includes many animals instead of each animal having their own pack.

Awesome! This is just what I need -- I bought it immediately, checked it out in ShowTool Pro, and it looks great!

There are a few animations I'd like to see added: jumping, turning left and right, bucking the back legs and bucking the front legs, as well as more head movement in general.

Overall, however, it's great! Thanks!

Stevie - this looks great! Can we make our own animations, or make changes to the model in 3dsmax?

HI,

The model was not made in 3d max, but i can supply you with an OBJ version of the file so you can load it into max.

Yet on your Buy Now page is says that animations will be free, but here your saying you will charge for them, isnt that false advertising?

Is this an upgrade to the horse previously available on your site?

I can answer this simply. There will be free animations given for registerd users, but i will also make a pack of skins, and further animations also

@Kim - This is the first horse i have sold on the site

Looks pretty good, but doesnt exactly look like it is real motion capture... looks like keyframing animation.

HI,

No, they are motion captures

What the difference from this horse pack then one on MYDreamer.com. Does this one have cs script. What source files come with this one?

The horse mesh is the original mesh made by Ashtara from the kit but i have altered the mesh slightly to how i wanted it. The saddle is a new one too.

Also, the big difference is that the horse has been retextured with photo realistic textures, and the animations are different too

Ahh...So the original horse isn't yours? This is basically just a slight mod + reskinning of someone else's model? That's alright, it just came across that you made everything yourself.

Does cs scripts come with it?

Yes.

By default i have supplied the pack so you can immediatally see the horse in action, in the starter fps for example, by defaulting the horse to be a player. Then you will see the a.i. player, which is normally kork.. turned into a horse!

Thats just so people who are new to torque, can see the horse immediatally.

The script information is also included with how to get it into game and be used as a mountable A.I.

I've never seen a horse with all 4 legs nearly straight at one time while it's in a gallop.
During a canter two of the legs will be almost straight (and occasionally during a gallop).

The real killer is the head. It's not correct for an AVERAGE trot or canter and only matches during the stretch of the gallop.

So if it's mocap then why is the head stiff?

Can you explain why your horse looks so much like a quick little multi-res of this www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/299411

Note the wrinkles on the sides of the horse. Only incontinuity is with the hair, it appears that yours has lost it from multires or from mirroring the texture mapping.

Smells fishy.
