. . .The One Tank Game To Bind Them. . .that's enough Lord of the Rings for one day. . .
My current work in progress is a arcade style tank game. Many thanks to all of you who answered any of my threads, for it sped up the developement of the game by centuries. So far I have a tank that moves with WASD, the turret rotates independently along with a machine gun whose bugs have not been ironed out yet. . .soon. . .very soon you stupid bugs. . .Ahem.
The enemy are terrorists, the name is yet to be decided for those scoundrels. I have some simple AI that pretty much interceps the player if he is within their perception range. The effects have been fun to make and even more fun to see. I hoping to get a "working" demo by the end of this week, though the developement will probably go on for at least 4 weeks more. I'm not expecting this week's demo to be much.
Probably just a kill or be killed showdown with endless enemies. And maybe a timer if I get to it. . .here's some screenshots anyway!

Thanks Apurva! I got that stupid thing worked out eventually. . .lol. I had some issues with forward movement since, but I just replaced the setForwardSpeed with better code.
