Character Location and Stats Saveing..

I remember seeing a post on the Torque Engine forms or somewhere about character locaion saveing to a file and so on.
As soon as I find it I'll throw up a small modified version so the RW community can have it and add it to there servers.
Basicly for now just have the characters location saved upon exit or being dropped and there kills tracked. Other stuff such as Experience and other skills could easly be added after that.
Oh if anyone remembers the link to where another user was posting about this please point me in that direction.

I think it would be useful to save character stats and location to an extensible directory, such as eDirectory (AD is not extensible to the degree you would need). The benefit to this would be that you could have multiple servers that you could play the same character on, i.e. if a group of servers were members of the same directory, you could choose the server, download your character from the directory into the local game database, and start playing. It could make for a larger world as well, extending the 128-player limit to using multiple servers. As well, eDirectory is free to developers... up to 250,000 users.
