Hi friends,
because my artist have got a holiday after our game Styrateg, I tried do develope (in one month)
a smaller casual game Phantasia. It's on 90% "one man work", so nothing entrancing, but meybe
you like it.

I'm going to publish some demo in two days. The game is finished, but I sould like to add some
fun animations to the game too.

The thing is, it's rather slow on my computer
1.4Ghz athlon XP, 512ddr, ati radeon 9200se.
I've already send an issue about all of these lag problems to the forum.
I can't even think about those System Requirements for GAMES made with TGB
Minimum
500 MHz processor
256 MB RAM
Windows 98
OpenGL or DirectX compatible accelerated 3D video card
Recommended
1.0 GHz processor
512 MB RAM
Windows XP
nVidia or ATI accelerated 3D video card
Nice game though ;)
I've only had one bug at the very first level (i loose in 3 secondes +/- don't know why...)

Intel 1.66ghz centrino duo, 1gb ram, ati mobility radeon x1400.
The file size is quite big because of the WAV files. I'm not sure what audio formats TGB supports, but if it supports OGG files, then I would recommend you use that.
But it's a nice game!

This is quite fun. I haven't run into any problems and it wasn't slow for me. My specs:Intel 1.66ghz centrino duo, 1gb ram, ati mobility radeon x1400.

Yes, there are small lags sometimes on my computer too (3GHz Athlon, XP, 1GB ram, Radeon X800) when you shoot down a lot of balls. Maybe it is due to a lot of scheduling functions or loading a lot of particle effects. I had more effects there, but I had to cut a lot of them dut to the game requirements.
There is still debug console (ctrl-d), and the counts of bitmaps looks ok.

Kevin: Thanks, my graphic art (www.300ad.com/tovy/illustration.html) is good for posters or small children, not for games ;) It could be much better.Styrateg is a turn based strategy - www.garagegames.com/mg/forums/result.thread.php?qt=42299

What do you use to draw? I must confess that I use Paint, and while my sprites look good there is little to no texture in them, lol. Sometimes I use Photoshop to add some semblance of texture (mostly to tile map pictures cause it looks like crap on anything else.) For a RPG game that I'm going to make, I'd like to have smooth, almost Anime looking graphics for it, this would be impossible using Paint!

Kevin: I use Corel Painter IX, it is very good for painting. It is cheaper then photoshop (I bought it in some Corel discount action for about 150 USD), I think it has all photoshop functions what you need and it is better for drawing/painting (but I have not tested the latest photoshop, I heard, that there are some good changes).

I don't like the way the little guys keep yelling for help. It gets annoying fast, and it's a little morbid.
