GPGT FAQ - XYZ Application Won't Run

Hello Folks
Hello folks. I have received a few e-mails from folks of this variety:
1. I try to run Maze Runner Advanced and it crashes/won't run.
2. I try to run the GPGT Lesson Kit and it crashes/won't run.
3. I'm using OSX and having problems with the applications (Lesson Kit or MRA).
4. I'm using OSX and I can't get the lessons to work.
The resolution for #1 and #2 are easy:
Copy the entire contents of the CD to your hard-drive. Now, run the applications there. This is necessary because the applications (GPGT Lesson Kit and Maze Runner Advanced) need to create DSO files, which they cannot do on the CD.
The resolution for #3 and #4 are a WORK IN PROGRESS. Please see this thread:
