How about I make some map files and send them to you? You convert to dif and send back.
You can use them in your levels.
Please?

Well, the Windows computer probably won't work anyway, it is SLOW. I sent Phil an email long ago. Let me know if Phil has make a pack similar to what was specified in the email.

I can't use Quiver, it needs 0S 9. We have 0S X, and it didn't come with a Classic folder. Is there a way around this? A newer version or something? (Without waiting for Constructor... I want that thing, but it doesn't seem to be really close to being released)

Question: (the writing in bold is the question :) )
Answer: Are you using an Intel Mac or a G3/G4/G5 Mac?
Installing OS 9 will not work with an Intel but with a G3/G4/G5.

I'm on a G5, but nevermind. Apparently we never used the istalation CD, because everything we needed came installed. So I found it, but now I need to know the best way to back-up a hard drive... 50 GB doesn't go away easily. At least according to the warning on the CD: "It is recomended that you back up all important files on your hard drive. Apple is not liable for any lost data" Does anyone know if this is really likely to happen?

I'll tell you how to do it after school :)

If you know what you are doing you will be OK. I think it's pretty unlikely that you will lose data but you need to make sure you install it properly (choosing the right options). Choosing the wrong ones could wipe your disk clean :O I'll tell you how to do it after school :)

Thanks. Yeah, I wasn't sure if it will try to re-install everything or if I could tell it to only install OS 9. It sounds like I can tell it to, but I don't want to take any chances, so I'll wait for you. Thanks again!

First of all, how many installation disks came with your G5?

Two of them. But nevermind, I found instructions on apple's wbsite. It appears as if OS X 10.4 has no restore disk to intall only OS 9, only 10.2/10.3 have those. (it's still "recomended" to back everything up) Overnight I backed up our hard drive, but if you know how to do it without earasing everything I'll listen. Thanks.
