Break Into Games question

I realize this is probably not the place for this, but I've just gotta ask for a peak behind the curtain here so that I can effectively plan our time over the next couple of months. Basically, I don't need to know things like specific rules or anything like an official announcement - just a general "yes, it's still on track" kinda thing. There has been, as far as I can tell, complete silence from GG on this topic since the announcement in May. It's now, as I'm sure you know, July! With an originally stated deadline for submissions at the end of August with the finalists being chosen from at IGC, that just doesn't leave much time to lift the veil of secrecy. The announcement was made with some authority and put into motion quite a bit of activity for our little startup project - what better than to be launching in sync with the B.I.G competition... It gave us a reason to plan to go to IGC (which, with the travel requirements from the East coast, and with a small budget, is something that will require something BIG "like" for us to attempt to pull off going this year). But with the last month and a half of silence, and with trying to do what's right by our product, our company's budget and our sanity - I have one simple question that I hope someone can answer:
Is Break Into Games still going to be happening at this year's IGC?
We await information with bated breath and we will continue to "crunch" on our game so that we are prepared as we "know not the day nor the hour" :)
If this information is available somewhere and I've just completely missed it, I sincerely apologize. Thanks!

Ken: Thanks! I've definitely seen that... After some more, vigorous googling, I've found this thread on another site that happens to contain more info than their official site. Lovely. My mad google skills didn't catch this earlier, so maybe there's more news yet to be had. But from that thread, it sounds, well... smaller, not bigger... -Andrew

Hmm... is that really a garagegames site? If we win the contest, do they throw in that Clip-Art CD as well ;-) just kidding - see you in October! Alex

I'm crossing my fingers that we have the opportunity to go, regardless of B.I.G. - but we have many miles to go (both geographically and in terms of development) before we get there.

Assuming that's the same B.I.G. contest...
