Artist gallery

Hi ,

Why is the artist gallery so unpopular , is it because it doesnt show up in the 'whats new' tab or what .
Is there a problem , dont you like your art ? are you ashame ? lol

Just start posting art and drawings there and explain how u created them (tools , procedures , hardware ,etc)

I think many people would like that.

I submitted one November 25th, I believe.

None are ever approved. Also no comments sucks.

I see didnt know that there was no comment ,
could the web administrator add a comment option for the artist gallery ?
Otherwise it stays dead.

I posted 1 hour ago still (pening approval)

I agree that the artist gallery needs improvement. It should be like dev snapshots where you can post comments and things. GG needs an automated approval process. If someone has posted x number of resources/snapshots/etc then autoapprove them, if they've been a member for x amount of time with x amount of activity, then autoapprove them and so on.

I posted one on February 11th, its still pending :P Its definitely being neglected...

If you wanna show-off artwork, I would suggest doing it in a .plan and talking about how you made it and your plans with it etc. At least people will look at it... No one looks at the artist gallery cause its never updated.

Well- that's why I use Showoff area in art section. It would be great to have "own" gallery but if it does not work- it does not work, simple as that.

Rasoslaw - We aren't "pissing against the wind" we are informing GG and whoever else wants to read this that the art gallery is being neglected and needs improvement. It works, but its just not being updated.

Great way of thinking there Radoslaw.

I agree the Art Gallery needs a minor overhaul to be more similiar to the "IOTD" shots.
