The game sounds good though, It was banned for sale in my country, so me and my mates will be giving it away down at the Vic Market. What? We're not selling it! We're just allowing people to not have their entertainment controlled in a nazi-style manner! in a first-world free country! Fucking Howard government...

Looks OK, I'm wondering how fun it can be though. This was a movie largely based on (fantastic) dialog and the acting skills of the small cast. It will be impressive if they can somehow translate that into an action game (or any kind of game really).

It looks horrible. How can they make that a game? It will be interesting to see if it can be fun. The movie rocked tho.

Dont knock the graphics. Most people here on GG use bland ambient lighting on everything leaving it washed out with little contrast (and no thats not the fault of/limitation in torque). Id say the grpahics on that look better than 90% of what people present here.

Heh - my thought exactly. If those graphics are so 2002, where would that put Torque?

They're not just 2002, they're bad. The textures are low-res, the models have little detail, it's the equivelant of the GTA3 prototypes. I could do better, Timmothy Aste could do better, Cubix Studios ahve certainly done better, It looks like they extorted the publisher and gave them a cheap game contracted by an indie studio or something.

Torque is definately capable of some amazing things. I think people often confuse a bad rendering engine with bad art. TGE/TSE are both capable of quality work.
