Do you want to put video on your 3D objects or just play vids in a gui window?

You will need to use the Theora GUI Control.

EDIT:
Just thought I would note that I was thinking in terms GUI's, but it has been extended (or transplanted) in a couple of topics on the private forums to use it on 3D objects as well.
