Hi all,
I'm having trouble with GUI. I've read the TDN content and searched a lot in the forum, but i still feeling something is missing.
My game is all based basically in GUI, but i don't know how to create good GUI, the TDN content is not complete.
So, someone know if there's a nice tutorial or guide about GUI? If not, how you do with this?
Thanks,
Gustavo

The tricky thing for me with the GUI is knowing what container classes to use to get the result I am looking for. You can't just add a stand alone GUI element and expect it to work so this requires some learning what each class does and how different GUI elements work together. The book helps.

Also, if you have not picked up the, "Game Programmer's Guide to Torque", I would suggest getting it as reference. TGB is based off the Torque engine. The tricky thing for me with the GUI is knowing what container classes to use to get the result I am looking for. There should be a way to bookmark threads that you like on this website without having to reply to them..
