Um, just so you know Andy, Discovery Channel is NOT Channel 4 everywhere. I'm surprised at how many people think that channel #'s are the same everywhere.

I'm surprised how you make generalizations about the world at large based on one person. :-p

Whirligig and others, I got 2 myths for you!

1) William Buffham did NOT lie on any of his times as he was really good.

2) Ramps Reloaded Gold Time (PC Version) of 15 seconds can be broken.

Here're several times and another topic that you will need to help you out: (I've extracted them)

Old WR Page:
http://www.garagegames.com/mg/forums/result.thread.php?qt=34069

William Buffham Times: (We don't have 3rd decimal place from him at all!)

Beginner
Collecting the Gems - 9.43 (Broken by Sceptus - 9.203)
Grand Finale - 40.08 (Broken by Sceptus - 39.532)
Intermediate
Marbletris 8.97 (Broken by Matan - 8.242)
Hop Skip and a Jump: 8.20 (Closest ever is Ssceptus with 8.280)
Upward Spiral: 28.85 (Broken by Matan - 21.633)
Advanced
Thrill Ride: 3.55 (Broken by Sceptus - 3.343)
Money Tree: 56.55 (Can be beaten. Closest ever: Matan - 56.681)
Freeway Crossing: 5.09 (Broken by matan - 4.897)
Stepping Stones: 12.00 (Pathway discovered. Matan has matched him with 12.007)
Around the World in 30 seconds: 9.86 (Closest ever is Matan with 10.204)
Ramps Reloaded: 14.93 (Never found pathway. Gold time of 15 seconds broken according to William. Closest is Matan with 17.525)
Free Fall: 5.59 (Unknown what was done. We believe he hit something, we don't know what or where. Closest is Andrew Patterson - 6.754)
Airwalk: 59.09 (Long beaten by Matan - 26.949)
Dive!: 15.03 (Beaten by Matan - 13.650)
King of the Mountain: 20.77 (Beaten by Matan - 7.739)

Conclusion Drawn:
William Buffham was good (Myth 1 confirmed) BUT he has some impossibly looking times that their respective pathways were never found (Myth 1 busted). This makes Myth 1 hard to decide, but it seems to be confirmed. Needs more investigation!
Ramps Reloaded gold time was broken (Myth 2 confirmed) but since no one knows William's pathway and he never said anything means that he might lie (Myths 1+2 busted). Again, investigate!

Good luck.

I once tried very hard on that level... I think it might be possible if you hit edges like in Learning to Roll - I found a few tiny tricks, but they are all so hard that I couldn't do any one after another (i.e. I would screw up)

Gyrocopter 2.813 (I don't know. His start is WORSE than the Special one and I cannot believe it myself)
Bumper training: 2.812 (I have WR!)
Tornado Bowl: 1.62 (Sceptus did better!)
Winding road: 10.359 (I wish I knew..)

Great divide 40.610 (...?)

Ski slopes: 5.53 (oh? I thought such excat time is impossible)
Ramps reloaded: 19.01 (easily beaten)
Acrobat 11.703 (I also wonder how he did it! It's impossible to gain enough height for such a time! He also said it took to him a very long time to transfer from his camera to his adobe photoshop program so he could do something. I also suggested him to use Paint and Prnt Screen which he said he did (contradics nicely the above said) and he said he doesn't have paint and yet he said he found it...Do I smell here something?)

For me one of the most unbelievable is Sceptus' Gravity Helix. I did 5.19-5.20 14 times in a row once. Not once did I get close to 5.15.

Tell the truth, i've beaten that by .001 seconds, i have 5.156, full screen makes it so it doesn't lag as much

What was the ultimate jump?
#19
12/19/2006 (8:50 am)
In "Twisting The Night Away", somebody said there was a way to get reaaly high and fly into a box where it said "Congratulations for doing the ultimate jump!" or something like that.
