T2d Vs Tgb

Could someone tell me the difference between these two. And is it possible to upgrade from T2D to TGB if they are different?

T2D and TGB are one and the same, the name simply evolved as the product neared completion.
It was possible to download a version 1.0.2 of the product, which was still called T2D at this point, until a few days ago, when Melv and crew released the final version of the product called TGB (Torque Game Builder).

If you bought T2D or TGB (TGB is T2D with the name change) in the Early Adopters then you will have the full source version of TGB automatically :)

Have we mentioned how much we love all you people at GarageGames? Really, have we?

I think there's a subtle difference between the names. T2D might refer more to the engine, while TGB might refer more to the editor. Dunno, just makes sense to me but could be totally wrong.

Edit: oh, not to imply that they are separate products, though. Still one package.
