Torque Mmorpg

Hey, is it possible to make a MMORPG using Torque???
I know it has Quake-esque networking, but is there some way to rig it so if you fly your ship into a portal on one server, you transport to another server...
...With your items and everything intact...
...making it seem like a MMORPG?

Nice link. ;)
@Nicholas
If you type in Minions of Mirth in the search tool (found at the top right of any Garage Games page) and hit enter, you should be given a list of links to articles about the largest and most successful Torque-powered MMORPG.

Yes, it can be done, but it's not for the faint of heart or light of wallet. You'll need to do a great deal of coding -- just tweaking the FPS demo isn't going to cut it.
If you're really intent on building an MMOG, try this thread and this one for a great collection of links on the subject.

@Nicholas: Your question is probably the #1 most-often asked question on the forums. Yes, it can be done, but it's not for the faint of heart or light of wallet. You'll need to do a great deal of coding -- just tweaking the FPS demo isn't going to cut it.
