Hydrogen Games is Hiring

Greetings TurboSquidians!
I am Seliris (Jacob Chacko), the Vice President and Designer for Hydrogen Games. I am currently in the process of searching out entry level artists who are trying to build a portfolio (and hopefully in the long run a career with us) in to the game design market.
Unfortunately, we're running on debt at the moment so none of these positions are paying, but we do promise to keep your work documented and assure you complete support and endorsement for any portfolio work you wish to build and to use to gain leverage when applying for another job. We also have a firm belief that this engine we are developing is going to stomp out most of the competition in 2007, which would mean that those artists who contributed the most and the best work would be looking at salary careers with Hydrogen Games.
But enough chit chat!
We are in need of the following types of artists:
- Texture Artists (to design seamless repeating environmental textures)
- 2D/Decal Artists (to design HUD/GUI/decal elements)
- Character Modelers
- Weapon Modelers
- UV Artists for working with character textures
- Experienced Game Modders
- Map/Level Designers
- Sound Effects and Musicians
I want to also point out that you are going to be working with some very powerful 3D engine technology (well beyound what the TSE is capable of) and so this isn't for those of you who are feint of heart :)
We will also need you to have access to a microphone and the Ventrilo program as we host general meetings over this system to discuss our development.
Also individuals should be ready to commit a large amount of their time (at minimum 20 hours per week and more during crunch times) but the rewards will definitely be worth it. As our business grows, those who show the most 'fruits' of labor will be offered relocation money and full time positions within our business. In the mean time we are offering true game design experience, portfolio endorsement, and an opportunity to get your foot in the door in the gaming industry.
