CVS Badwidth Issues?

I noticed a possible issue with CVS and its bandwidth detection (maybe).
From work this afternoon around 2pm EST, I nabed a copy of torque/example from the HEAD tag.
All went well, I get home this evening and now I am unable to do jack with the TGE CVS. I get an error regarding bandwidth.
So I ask, how in the blazes does a co of the example directory kill my bw for the day?

Gone are the days I could maintaina copy of TGE on both my work laptop and my home PC. I can see how I would have gone overboard IF I were to nab the entire HEAD tree, but to nab a small part of it?
*sigh*
Oh well, time to head back to the drawing board and figiure a way to keep both machines up to date

Its not that big a deal...its mostly a one-time cost. Once the data files are on your PC, cvs update won't download them again unless somebody updates the art in the repository which probably won't happen too often.

I have this stinking feeling that this will happen again
in the morning when I go and update the same example directory, and when I get home I will be screwed.....
