Please comment on this tutorial as it is now. I still have more to do, but I think it is very userful so far. Please note that this is an advanced tutorial so you must have gotten your feet wet with exporting and animating DTSs using Blender. The purpose I believe is well defined, but I would be interested in more topics to be convered for by this tutorial to make it truly advanced.
Thanks,
Frank
P.S. I apologize to those who are not able to get to TDN pages, but I did not think there was a more appropriate place to post.

Could you please post the tutorial where it is possible to access it as TDN will not allow normal GG users access.

I don't understand. All TGE owners have access to TDN. You may have to login, but once you do go and try the link again. Sometimes TDN causes people to have to relogin.

There are lots of different ways to do things. You need to understand the editors first be they Blender, Milkshape, etc. The only nodes that matter are the ones that are called out in the node lists for the different types of shapes. Those are on the main TDN artwork page. I am not going to duplicate what others have done, and I am not going to create a step by step walk through.
You really need to use other tutorials especially the ones that have nothing to do with Torque. It has taken me 3 years or more to understand Blender to the extent I now do. I don't expect it will take you that long if you use the "noob to pro" tutorials. Then once you have a full understanding of the tool you can work through the basic tutorials for the DTS exporter. Even the ones not specifically for Blender. They will give you a depth of understanding for how the exporters work. Then come back to this tutorial and all the blanks will be filled in.
I know it is difficult to work through this the first time. However, you are already well on your way to understanding Blender. I think some of the "magic" of the way things work needs to be dispelled before you can really understand. Make a bunch of artwork using bones, IK, etc and put them in static shapes. This is a great place to start especially for short term success and confidence building.
