Orc skin not displaying right with nvidia 7800

I have an geforce 7800 GTX and when I run the demo or my prototype game the orcs skin is not pixelspecular or bumped or anything. Just plain diffuse texture. Like it's not getting lighting data. It doesn't happen when I use my ATI x1300 pro video card. It doesn't appear to be happening on any other material. The other materials are displaying fine. What's the deal? anyone else see differences between nvidia and ATI cards in TSE?

And I was wrong in my initial statement that it works using my ATI x1300 PRO. It doesn't. I also downloaded a fresh copy of TSE and compiled both debug and release and I get the same results. Debug works and release doesn't.
Is there a setting I'm missing when compiling the release veersion? This makes no sense.
And like I said, it only happens to player skins. I put the adam pack in and the same thing happens to it.

Ok I ran some more tests. If I run a debug version of tse everything looks great. If I run the realse version i get this:And I was wrong in my initial statement that it works using my ATI x1300 PRO. You could try turning off glow to see if that affects it. That's been a problem on some nVidia cards. I'm going to take another shot at fixing that soon.
If there are continuing nVidia problems after this upcoming release, we'll send TSE off to nVidia and have them take a look at it. We're stable and efficient enough at this point that it would be worthwhile for them to do so.

Unfortunately that sounds like a driver problem since it's not happening on the ATI hardware. We'll have a new rendering update coming out very soon that might help. Tested OK on Geforce 6600 and 6800, but the 7800 is a new series so it may still be a problem. You could try turning off glow to see if that affects it. That's been a problem on some nVidia cards. You are experiencing exactly what I am. When I first start the engine and run a mission(any mission) the orc skin is broke. However, if I exit that mission and restart it or enter a different mission, the orc looks fine. Something on first load is braking the player skin. I put several orcs in the mission and they all have messed up skins as well. But when I reload the mission, everything looks good.

Works fine on dual 7800s for me. Don't want to belabour the obvious, but JIC, have you forced pix version 3 in your prefs?

Works fine on mentioned hardware here as well. Old drivers though.

@Brian Ramage - The TSE 3.5 update fixed this issue for me. Everything is rendering fine. Very nice update btw. You deserve a raise!
