Is it ok to use the 3D models in a game that came with the Torgue game engine indie. The ones from the FPS starter pack.

The answer Mathew is yes. If you read the lisence agreement you'll see where it's all fine to use.

I've been around here for a long time (almost 2 years) and I've also wondered about this. However, I haven't been able to find a definitive answer to Mathew's question. I've read the EULA (for both the Indie and Commercial license), and the ReadMe.html in my SDK directory. I've read through multiple GG official FAQ documents and done a variety of searches for it on the Garage Games site using the tool C2 pointed out. Maybe I've been using the wrong search strings, I don't know.
But the main thing is that after doing all of that, I haven't found anything that specifically mentions the use of 3D models, textures, or sounds that shipped with the SDK. If anyone has a link to such a document or can give me some search keywords that will get me there, that would be great.
I know common accepted practice is to include whatever SDK art that the developer chooses, but I want to make sure all of my legal bases are covered on this. Again, maybe I've been looking in the wrong places or searching with the wrong keywords.
Thanks,
Aaron E.

There have been games released that include SDK Data, one of which is Miniopns of Mirth, which includes unaltered the Orc Hovels and fire pit. Since GG has ahd no problems with these so far, I'd say it's pretty safe.

Everything that was made for Realm Wars back when it was a community project is free for SDK owners to use. That includes the models and code (you can still get the old Realm Wars source code off CVS).

Yeah, I was guessing that GG and the original developers (Weston Tracy, and others) would be ok with it, but lately, I've been getting very about this stuff. Maybe I just need to relax.
Still, an official statement would be cool.
