Editing collision polys at edges

I'm new to the level editor, but I have one problem with the collision poly editing. If I try and drag a point to the edge of an image map it will often stop 1 pixel or 2 short because when the mouse pointer leaves the image map the point fails to get dragged to the edge with it, at least if the mouse is moving at speed. Also, if I later zoom in, I'll find that I need to move the point again to make it right at the very edge of the image.

What I am trying to say is, if you attempt to drag a point off of the image map, can it not get dragged to the VERY edge of the image map, every time, to make it simple?

Maybe such accuracy is not needed, it just seemed a rather un-intuitive thing to me.
