A heads-up on my next level (now released!)

ATTENTION ALL MARBLERS!! I am in the process of planning a new, fun level which I plan to call "Space Adventure"!

In this level, the player will travel from Earth to the planet "Marblius". At Marblius, the player must explore and also collect several gems to be brought back to Earth. The gems are needed on Earth because the supply of minerals on Earth has run out, so outside sources are needed. The people of Earth cannot wait; you have only 3 minutes to collect the gems and return to Earth! (The time limit may change.)

Along the way, there will be several hazards, such as asteroids, space tornados, space mines, etc. To add to the realism of this level, it will be completely surrounded by space. Most of the platforms the marble will roll on will be made of the space texture, also, to add even more of a challenge.

At the time of this post, I am still in the planning stages. I will build the actual level over the weekend and will do lots of testing on it early next week. You should expect the level to be released during the middle of or late next week; the following weekend at the latest.

You will enjoy this level when it is released!!

I can't get over the gaps after you get the last gem. No matter what I always fall short.

Giant Shortcut Alert:

This may take the fun out of the level, which I LOVE, by the way. It's one of the best levels I've ever played, because it's held my attention for so long, like four hours. Anyway, the shortcut is: When the level starts, turn to the left and jump as far as possible, trying to land on one of the space platforms with SuperJumps on them. Click it right after you've bounced, and attempt to land on the space path with black holes (trapdoors). Marblius in under 15 seconds. I claim this shortcut as my own. ^_^ Heh. I don't think you should use this shortcut until you've actually reached Marblius on your own, because the first half of the level is what sells it. I love this level, 10/10.

I guess it's my time to say MY shortcut [I claim ownership] for THIS TIME: 1:23.099 minutes .

Note: If excecuted succesfully, you make it to Marblius VERY quickly. My best is 6.7 seconds.

At the start, rotate camera left and do a Semi Special Fast Start to the right (W+D) and that's how it goes:

You jump normally and then land on go but do not jump (thats the SS Fast Start) and keep on pressing W+D. Now get the Super Jump and jump and activate it. You're thrown far away to the GYROCOPTER (I told you I love this powerup) and press jump and left click on the mouse to activate the Gyrocopter so that it's activate it as you hit it. With the free fall, momentum and the excellent placing of the asteroid and your timing of activating the Gyrocopter, you're thrown so high that if you press W+A/D you're thrown straight to the planet! Now either go to the edge of it or try and get the gem and continue normally.

Another way is getting the Gyrocopter and going LEFT and activating the super jump. This power-up with the Gyro gives you enough height to make it to Marblius at 9-12 seconds.

Another fun shortcut was this:

Start as above with W+D+Semi Fast Start and get super jump and continue W+D and jump on the space floor with the mines and jump again. Once you pass 1-2 platforms on the left and get close to the blue part [learning to roll interior], activate the super jump and you've landed on the interior. Now get the super jump and go W+A+Jump+Super Jump and get Gyro and now activate it, go left and get the super jump (while Gyro still activated) and you're up to Marblius.

I owned the level once I had it.

Another Fun Shortcut which I claim ownership:

When finishing Marblius, get the super jump (after GM) and go W+A+Jump. You'll go fast enough to pass the gaps and everything without the need for the super jump. Anyway, continue to the tornados and get close to the first and jump and activate it. Now pass both first and second and stop. The marble will continue normally to the next super jump. Easy as.

Enjoy ;)

"Now get the Super Speed and jump and activate it" - I didn't know there was a SuperSpeed in this level!

I meant SUPER JUMP!

FIXED!

I keep on writing SUPER SPEED INSTEAD OF SUPER JUMP AND VICE VERSA, GAH!
