As some of you know "rumors" as it there will be a gamedev competition runned by garagegames starting june 7 2006 to +/- october 2006.
Anyone feels like teaming up ? i am relatively skilled in graphic / music / sfx creation and can do some TGB scripting. If you have a competitive mind and feel you could complete a short game using TGB due for the contest please dont hesitate to contact me.

Break Into Games (BIG) Competition
I don't want to steal Jay's thunder so I can't say much about this other than it's gonna be BIG. The competition will begin upon the launch of TGB and will culminate at the 5th Annual IndieGamesCon.

I'm more skilled on the programming side than the art side, though I think I'm fairly decent at the latter as well. I've done a couple of projects where I've collaborated with someone via the web. So I've got some experience coordinating/communicating at a distance.
I saw the video of your game (Kemosabe Micro) in another thread. I'm working on a similar type game. It's a top-down shooter of sorts, but it's a battle between 2 (or more?) space ships in a small area. I think there's potential in a merged concept of sorts. By myself, I was going to stick strictly to a multiplayer battle game. But together we could probably do much richer battle enviroments or even possibly an adventure game of sorts.
Think you'd be interested in such a game?

you are exactly who i was looking for to take the concept further :D i will be happy to make a game for the contest but i must admit my ultimate goal would be a shareware tittle.
