Since I can't post in the TGE forums...

I was wondering if TGE is going to get a price change as well? I think I'm going to get it really soon and was just wondering if GG could let me know if it's still going to be $100?

If not then I better hurry up and get it soon.

Thanks.

Edit: I want TGE for the 3D of course, as well as 'borrowing' the realtime netcode for TGB. Mmmm, realtime networking.

AFAIK, I do not know, but with the pricing shift in TGB and the technology that has gone into TGE since the initial "let's release an engine for $100!" thought, I wouldn't doubt it. A number of commercial engines have been querying their communities for a while now about raising prices because their quality is above their price-point. TGE is easily worth more than $100. Do I know anything? Of course not. I'm the last person who would get priviledged info from the GG enclave, but it would make sense to me if they did. And I wouldn't mind in the slightest. Now Unity's query of a near 4x price-jump for an indie upgrade...well, that was more than a bit extreme...and just a query. But a common one among a number of commercial indie engines right now.
