Lights!

I got his police car and i would like to add the lights to it so when the user presses a button it actually show the lights going around red and blue! anyone done this before!

I'd like to see this as well. I noticed when I load in the player.max file to Max there are two 'light' nodes (dummies) on the model's chest, that correspond to what look like lights on the player's skin (I'm using the Phoenix Medium skin from Tribes two on my TorqueGuy). But when exporting to DTS these don't seem to do anything.

Does anyone know how to get these working, or are they a throwback to some excised Tribes 2 code? It'd be nice to be able to stick lightsources into DTS shapes, the first thing that comes to mind is the repair packs in Tribes 2 with the pulsing red glow around them...

they were going to be in tribes 2 but T2 doesn't use any of its lights code.. well it uses some for powered items having lit textures, but not real light sources

you just gotta make a texture animation sequence and have it get brighter I think using IFL texture list. (IFL is just s text file)
