True or just a rumor?

Is it true that the creators of torque skies used real pictures? they look too real to be made on a computer... What do you think?

Terragen, as well as alot of other terrain generating programs, do a nice jobs at skies. I personally think it would be alot more trouble taking pictures and editing them. I use Terragen on a seldom used machine. The rendering takes a while, but the results are awesome.
