Say I want to host 10 seperate games of 12 players each on a single server PC that is roughly 1gb RAM and P4 2-3ghz in class.
Would it work good?
Any suggestions for an 'online game' that would have maps with no more than 12 people on it at once, but they players can hop between the maps?
edit: as far as network traffic, consider the game 3d-shooter like, so think Counterstrike or Unreal

Think if I gave it a high bandwidth thruput I could keep everyone 100ms or less (considering their connection is nearby and decent as well)
