Has anyone tried a sport game?

Hi guys, i'm new to Torque and interested in doing a football/soccer game. I just wondered if anyone else has attempted a sports game and how suitable Torque is for moving 22 players and a ball around.

If you can code it Torque can do it. The two biggest hurdles I can forsee is you'll need to implement your own physics for the ball, and the AI for the bot players. I haven't tried a sports game but just thinking of all the variables for AI in a soccer game is already giving me a headache. I know a few other people are making soccer / football games, perhaps they'll jump in on this thread and offer some good advice. The only published sports game that I can think of made with Torque is Tennis Critters.

Aside from Tennis Critters, you could count Deer Hunter 3D and Pro Bass which were made with Torque before it was called Torque.

Personally i have a little hockey project i mess with on the side. Good AI looks to be my biggest hurdle as well. If anyone has any good links for sports AI i'd appreciate it. =)
