New to modeling in milkshape need some tips

How the hell do u mirror the thing from one side to the other ive tried all kinds of diffent ways and i have one half of it finished but i just wanna mirror it so it can all be done but if i dupe selection nothing happens then when i try to mirror it leaves the other side empty which brings me back to where i started but its on the other side

Didnt work i get the same results its just half done on the other side and the other is blank. is there a way to actually see the selection you dupe cuz when i do that where does it appear noting happens even when i move the cloned peice away from the original it just moves bothits really pissing me off

I don't use MS much these days So, I'm sure someone else can be more helpful...

Your selection will be red. Use the wireframe views and under the 'Groups' tab use the 'Select' key to help when duplicating and mirroring the correct side. Once you duplicate the first half you should be able to simply mirror that to the opposite side. I don't use MS much these days So, I'm sure someone else can be more helpful...

The duplicated selection should show up as a separate group under the group tab. you can select it from there. if it doesn't show up there then you did something wrong.
