Where is TGE 1.4 for mac and Linux?

Hi all,

I bought TGE 1.4 few weeks ago.
It is said that TGE is cross-platform.
However, I only download my pc version.
Where is TGE 1.4 for mac and Linux?

Quote from product page:
The same code will run on Windows, Linux, or OSX, and can be ported into other Torque products as well.

Thanks in advance.

I think it only ships with the Windows executable. You have to compile your own executable for Linux and Mac if you want it to work on those systems.

All three are available in binary format, goto your account, then click on download. By default it will show you the download for your platform. For example, my download only shows mac. To download for the other platforms click on the platform icons below the picture (Windows, mac, and Linux). Then it will show you all of the pre-packaged downloads.

I don't know how much that will help, but its there. If you change anything in the source you will need a way to compile and test on the other platforms.

Good Luck.

@Mark

The linux binary it still TGE 1.3.
Mac and Windows Executables are 1.4, but I'd guess you'd have to compile Linux TGE 1.4 from cvs.

I haven't been successfull with that though :(

Thank you, all of you.

BTW, Why it say " This link will expire in 8 hours."???
Does it mean the link will disappear after 8 hour downloading time?

Thanks in advance

No it means if you email the link it won't work after 8 hours.
But if you go to your account, the link will always be there.
