TGB Release Schedule?

Being that I'm a new user and Beta 2 is my first experience with TGB, I was just curious how frequently new versions get released. I realize this is impossible to predict but I'm just wondering what the interval has been over the last 3 or 4 updates. Has it been every month, every three months, every six months? I'd just like to have a ballpark idea of when to start keeping an eye out for a new version.

I absolutely love the current version and (aside from a couple of bug fixes) the only thing I'm impatiently waiting for is the integration of the tile map editor and the level editor. Once that's in place, all other updates and additions are just icing on the cake.

Last 3 or 4 updates? Here's the entire history (actual release dates may have varied by a couple days on some of the releases, but in general the more recent stuff is pretty accurate).

1.0 series
1.0.0 - 3.02.05
1.0.2 - 4.21.05

1.1 series
Alpha 1 - 11.24.05
Alpha 2 - 12.24.05
Alpha 3 - 1.20.06
Alpha 4 - 2.1.06
Beta 1 - 2.4.06
Beta 1.1 - 2.9.06
Beta 2 - 3.24.06
Beta 3 - end of this month (tentative)

@Mike - Thanks for the detailed reponse! That gives me great perspective on the product's development history.

Other than the gap between 1.0 and 1.1 those are amazingly quick update releases. That's very good to see and now I'm REALLY looking forward to Beta 3. ;) I had thought it might not be planned for at least three or four months from now.

No, no! For the love of all that is holy, no! I'm barely getting up to speed on Beta 2. You guys are just going to have to slow things down a bit.

Just curious, but will Beta 3 be feature-complete? Close to a Golden Master? I'm jonsin' to see what the final release will be like!! (It just keeps getting better.)

I'm confused where do I get Beta 2? When I click my download link from my account page it only shows this:

TGB Indie - Source (1.1 Beta 1.1)

I know Beta 3 comes out soon but I'm just curious what I've been missing out on using 1.1 this whole time.

Just click the link. The file is called beta2 but I suppose they forgot to change the actual name of the link.
