Search engine problems...?

by D B · in General Discussion · 04/07/2006 (2:26 pm) · 5 replies

I went to use the search engine today, but it would not bring up any results on GarageGames (it would for TDN, though).

Is it something to do with my computer, or is it a problem with the search engine itself?

It was mentioned on the bug site. A possible reason is that since GG was down last night/this morning, the engine did not do an internal cache and is relying only on external feeds. Once it processes the internal pages tonight, it should be back up and running.

The other theory is that naked spider chicks have violently taken over the GG site and are redirecting the search engine to gothornot.com.

That would make sense; I do remember GG going down the other night.

At least if you type in Torque it comes up with results unlike the previous search engine :D
