I recently got 3ds max 8 but there are so many potions I am a little lost lol, I was wondering if anyone could point me to some tutorials mainly on animating/skeletons for models.
Thanks.

IchIs Beretta 9000 VTMs, you need Techsmith codec or so to play it I think.
Its a really awesome technique, it works on everything from characters to simple props.

As well as UV mapping, I got a nice VTM for that aswell:
www.st0lve.net/files/ank-uv-video.zip
Hit 'M' to get your material tab open, just click the defuse slot, then browser for your image that you want to use.

Especially for the most recent version of max the autodesk website is a great place to find some of the more cutting edge max stuff.http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=5903856
