Will Torque work for me

I plan to build a game that will combine a First Person Shooter, a Strategy, an RPG, and a Simulation game. I have GameSpace for 3D modeling and I am looking at Torque. Will Torque give me everything else I need to build this game? My game will have multiple screens (map view, character customization screen) and have a day/night feature and be able to get in and out of vehicles. How much of this game would be programing and how much would be done with a GUI interface? What do I need to know to create this game?

You will have to do a lot of coding and a lot of scripting for your proposed idea. The more specific you make your idea, the more coding you generally have to do (unless your specifics are already included in the demo, in which case you will need to tweak their specificity).

However, I know torque is capable of FPS, strategy, rpgs, and simulation games (go to the game store I think there is an example of each there, or even look at the demos that come with the engine, there is the FPS and racing one)
What you are describing sounds like an innovative game, and i would expect with that much uniqueness, you will have to do a lot of coding.
