Kork disapears when object added?

I added a building for testing in the starter.fps and kork disapeared. He was there until I saved.
Anyone have an idea what caused him to disapear?
And, how to get him back??

Ok, I've seeen that other people have had this problem with modified versions of the sdk.
My sdk hasn't been modified. Just the mission file. I don't even know yet how to add him back. All the data for him is still intact. I didn't touch any of the scripts. The mis file loooks the same. (eccept for the end of the file where I added a building)
How can I get him back?

LOL. He didn't die, he just flew the coop. :D
I got him back while attempting to add guards. I don't know what's going on with tge. One time I go in, all is well with the world. next time, I have exploding footprints. :/
