New Level - Marble Agility Course

I've finally finished a level after quite some time...
Marble Agility Course
Basically you have to jump over bars, into hoops, squeeze through tunnels, jump up columns, etc. to get 20 gems... I don't believe any of the gems are in any way hard to find, and the overall path should be fairly obvious. It's also pretty hard to fall off unless you try! Good luck getting the gold time of 30:00 - my personal best is 31.94, but I'm by no means an "elite" marbler.
Instructions:
1- Copy and paste the code in the following posts into a text editor such as Notepad or TextEdit.
2- Save the file as something.mis
3- Put this file in marble->data->missions->custom, inside the MarbleBlast folder.
(For Mac OS X, username->Library->MarbleBlast)
4- Open MarbleBlast (the game), and it should be in the Custom tab!
Enjoy!

Ah, so that's the famous wall that you get stuck on! Now I know why do I get stuck sometimes on walls!
"* In the section where you have the blue pipes that look kinda like the letter "H" but with an extra horizontal bar - maybe it's just my system, but it runs quite slow when I jump through those."
Same here and it's because of my screen and really bad computer
Tristan, isn't 28/4 = 7 for the overall score? or is it just your opinion? Not picky, just wondered about it.
"but a bit to short with to simple tasks"
Maybe simple, but if you just get one wrong move... :)
"more fun for players if you made it so they HAD to take a certain path instead of cutting."
There is a pathway, I thought it's pretty obvious.
That's my 2 cents.

Oh, and about the pathway thing... what I'm saying is people can cut trough the middle not that it matters much. And about all the bad criticism about short and simple tasks: Don't take it personally, 'cause I'm one of the people who prefers fast paced, big drop, long-level types. But your reuse of the items was really good, and it deserves 10/10 for that. I do critisize about the orange, for you always get stuck. Not to get of topic, but in the Ghost Level (downloaded if you get the light package) I got stuck right in between the orange board! Anyways, you're level would fit pretty good under a light, beginner, or intermediate level. Good job.

Sorry, I'm not good at math (even though I get A+ every time) No, It was my opinion.. too lazy :-)Oh, and about the pathway thing... what I'm saying is people can cut trough the middle not that it matters much. The problem with the orange walls is a very difficult one... If I use the only other sqaure platform, a purple/gray one, the problem becomes even worse. I admit that I was a bit lazy about that, because I just thought that players would learn to avoid them :-) I also tried simply omitting them, but the resulting exposed ends of the halfpipes created an even greater similar sticking problem. (see www.garagegames.com/mg/forums/result.thread.php?qt=39250)Quote:On the green embedded pipes, you don't have to worm your way through; just hopping on top of them, or running alongside them, will snag the gems. That's how you get the gold time!
Quote:I 've also gotten stuck a couple times in the blue pipe that you stretched to make a "bridge". I don't mean stuck underneath - I mean stuck within the middle.I think that must be your computer's problem - it doesn't do that on either of my computers.
Quote:it would be more fun for players if you made it so they HAD to take a certain path instead of cutting.I made it such that the path is completely obvious - after all, why forbid cutting through if doing so adds no challenge, only possible frustration?
Quote:Also, maybe a slide? What "agility" does a slide take? Everything in this level was planned to take agility - jump precision, fine rolling into tunnels, jumping on top of a bridge, jumping up a post, jumping onto platforms. A slide would not really fit in my opinion.

You know what? I'm just really picky about levels. Sorry. I mean, after beating the gold time on the final advanced level, I'm looking for harder objectives. And I like heights. And in my last post, I said it would just be a bit more exciting, (don't really have a reason why) If you had to take an exact path. It's not you, it's me.

Tristan, have you beaten any world records? How many gold times had you beaten already? I need to beat Half Pipe Elite 's gold time and I'm 100% finished. I didn't change Ramps Reloaded Gold Time though, but I know it should be 25 seconds.

Quote:I'm just really picky about levels. Sorry. You are right to be. (So am I - see, I've never given any 10/10 in any category.) I happen not to like big levels where I have to look all day for gems; I like those that aren't really too difficult to do, just a lot of fun. Personally, I absolutely hate levels that take longer than about 2 minutes or so.

Oops! Better start on thinking on Gem Travel - Small ;)

Ok, due to a request by Technostick, a sub-25 seconds run (hopefully like my record) will be available for Marble Agility Course today.Edit: Video uploaded and can be found in the HINT BOOK forum and the GENERAL DISCUSSIONS forum! This is for a sub-20 seconds pathway.

I did notice a few minor bugs, however.
* You used the dreaded orange walls; at least once my marble has gotten stuck and I've had to start over.
* In the section where you have the blue pipes that look kinda like the letter "H" but with an extra horizontal bar - maybe it's just my system, but it runs quite slow when I jump through those.
* On the green embedded pipes, you don't have to worm your way through; just hopping on top of them, or running alongside them, will snag the gems.
* I 've also gotten stuck a couple times in the blue pipe that you stretched to make a "bridge". I don't mean stuck underneath - I mean stuck within the middle.
