Creating distributable copies of my game

Like I've said before, me and my friends are working on a small fps game.
We would like to be able to distribute it to other people, more or less just to show off, as we reach certain milestones in our development.
How do I make a distributable copy of a game,
Without the ability to hit f10 or anything while in the game to change anything? And everything else all nice and tidied up.
I'm sure this is a rather common thing to do, as I've downloaded other torque games taht are like this. However, I wasn't sure what it was called, so I wasn't able to run a very effective search. However I did look around as well as I could.
Thanks guys.

Check out molebox (google it) for a packed file that runs from a secure exe. This will stop people ripping your assets.
