Water Engine multi-pass texturing

Hi Group,

Is the Water Engine's "Multi-pass wave crest and shoreline textures" functional?
I have yet to see anyone implement this in their game.

[note that I haven't sat down and tried it yet myself, but I do want to implement it into my game design, I'm just not to that point yet...]
