I've bene following this engine awhile now. It has full SM3.0 support, physics, lighting, a Python IDE, Post-Proc effects and 3d sound. Check it out, the price is 99 Euros. You can do alot with the demo of the egnine to test shaders/postproc/physics aswell, available from devnet.sylphis3d.com/.
EDIT: spelling

I thought it was called Syphilis too. Speaking of... is it true that if you keep making video games all day every day that you will go blind? My mother told me this once when she walked in on me... working on game dev... one time late at night.OK. That was made up. :P

Interesting demo. Little too quirky and buggy for my liking as far as shelling out 99 euros.

Yeah - seems a little pricey for what basically amounts to a college project. I don't see much of an advantage to going with it when I've got Torque for cheaper and my own engine for free.

I like that it is Python coded, but there are some rough edges...

is that correct?"
No, it is a full Engine, just like Unreal or Source.
"Yeah - seems a little pricey for what basically amounts to a college project."
A college project with a feature list as big as Doom 3!

Knowing my engine collection tendencies, I'll probably be buying it soon. Then I can look at it, think "wow...that's pretty...I like Python" and then tool around in Torque.
