I was just curious if its alright if the members of the community to make mods out of RW...? i have already created a few new weapons (all using the same image) and done some tweaking. i also have a few ideas that i would like to use (*cough* TEAMS! )... so should i continue or should i delete all my work now?

Actually I think Modding the demo Is a good way to test Ideas and see how people react to them. Kinda like test servers. If an Idea gains alot of popularity and fits within the Realmwars vision It would be a good starting point to work on getting it "official".Just my opinion,

I know Phil and a couple others have been working on a team version of RW.
As for myself I started my personal RW site - realmwars.feylab.com
And I started working on a system to allow for multiple ammo types for a single weapon.
Mostly waiting for the project to get going and getting back into the swing of scripting the Torque engine

While we were at GDC, we got so stoked about RW, that we decided to kick on the next milestone ourselves to make sure we are off on the right track. We still welcome community involvement, and your team play stuff should be able to make it in the build.
Once we dig our from the GDC overload, we'll get our ideas posted, and move on.
This is going to be a blast!

Very cool! Our goal is to make the next milestone we fun to play, and not just a technical demo. We want team play in there. While we were at GDC, we got so stoked about RW, that we decided to kick on the next milestone ourselves to make sure we are off on the right track. Anyway, its maybe good to have some sort of RW spinoffs every now and then, to guage different idea's. Teamplay is one of those things thats VERY hard to enforce or even encourage.
I'm basically interested in looking at making things less Deathmatchy in whatever form that takes.
Objectives are a good thing, but you need to explain things a lot better (and honestly, thats going to take source :))
I also want to do away with those horrid non-bitmap buttons :)

Still could do with the CVS setup though, so I didnt have to dupe the model to have a unique skin for each team.Anyway, its maybe good to have some sort of RW spinoffs every now and then, to guage different idea's. Teamplay is one of those things thats VERY hard to enforce or even encourage.

I'm pretty sure I'll be releasing a team based mod called Team assault later tonight.
