I am making content to go in my future games, but the first thing i wanted to know before making the items(things ranging from, construction cones to houses ect.) was, what's a good polycount to have them set at, so in otherwords, i need guide lines to follow like, small items 40 polycount or less, and please if you could, give me an example of what a small item would be, like a bike or somthing common that i would know.
it would be much apreciated

I dunno if this will help out or not, but I remember reading somewhere on the forums that the following guide is a fair rule of thumb to follow:
Characters - 2250 polygons
Vehicles - 1500 polygons
Weapons - 500 polygons
Maybe someone else can verify this for ya. Hope it helps.
