Driver problems

by Nathan · in General Discussion · 03/10/2006 (4:53 pm) · 3 replies

When I run the Torque Demo on my computer it sometimes crashes. I think it's because I don't have a updated driver (It says in the readme file to have updated drivers). But I can't figure out which driver I'm supposed to get. I have a mobility radeon 7500, the driver version is 6.14.10.6334, and the driver was installed 3/30/2003. Is there any kind of updated driver I can get? I went to ATI.com but didn't know what to download for my card.

Thanks a lot

I think this is it? I'm assuming that you have Windows XP

What makes you think that it's your video card anyway? Also it would help if you posted any errors that it displays as well as anything that the console tells you is wrong.

I don't know what's causing the problem. I reason I think it may be the video card is in the Torque Game Engine Demo readme file. In the file it says "Make sure you have the latest drivers for your particular video card". I thought maybe I just had old drivers or something. I don't get any errors in console.log, what happens is when I go into the demo mission the game jsut freezes randomly and I have to crash the game(and sometimes my computer). I still have no clue whatsoever on what driver I should download. I mean there's several differant ones and I don't know which one to download!
