Favor Request To Someone With Max

Hi

I have a favor request to someone who has MAX or some other modeling tools that can read the following models (.max, .3ds, .lwo).

There is this really great website with free models that I want to try out. But I don't have max

Could someone download these models and possibly convert it into a format that I can use in wings3d or milkshape? The files are listed below along with the format. if you could email it to me at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, I would be greatly indebted. I'm a programmer putting together a demo

Thank you very much

i see i am going to have to make some low polygon versions.

it looks like these models have too high a polygon count for a torque game.

i'm guessing a torque character polygon count should be ideally less than 2000
that 3ds model was i think too big
i'm going to edit out my email address to avoid those crawlers in the previous message

but if anyone wants to do me this favor, of changing those models into something that milkshape or wings3d can read that would be great.

please put up a post - and i'll put my email address for a day (but i'll have to take off my email address soon after due to webcrawlers )

The polycount depends on how much you have on the screen at one time, the graphics card, etc. But, yeah. Those are high.

For anyone interested in where these models came from, they and more can be found at:
