Forum Search Option

This has probably been added before and I know you have a google search bar at the very top by the menu's, but how about an option to just search the forums?

This is place is already very big and is only going to get bigger. Sometimes it's hard to find old threads I've come across that I need a link out of. I also am afraid everytime I ask a question that it's already been asked and answered, I don't want to reinvent the wheel more than I have to. ;-)

The google search supports that. If you type something into the search bar you get to the regular google window. There you can specify where to search ("all documents" is the default).

As Michael states, you can search the forums only, blogs, all documents etc I've noticed that searching all documents can return fewer hits than forums alone so using both if you can't find a result is a good idea.

If you use firefox have a look at mycroft.mozdev.org/download.html?name=GarageGames&submitform=Search then you can have the forums search available all the time :)

It would also be really nice to only get hits from forums you have access to... ;)
