Content Pack?

I know there are plenty of content packs out there on this site and on personal sites, but what I'd like to know is, what other art content packs do you guys need/want?

I figure the public's input would be useful in determining the first content pack the small studio I represent releases.

Do these sound attractive?

1. 25-Vehicle Pack: Rigged and ready vehicles with example source files from 3 different applications. (DTS)
2. Neighborhood Pack: Ranging from houses to street lamps, plug these into your nearest neighborhood! (DTS prop-type)
3. Metropolitan Pack: Skyscrapers, factories, police stations, bridges, make your own smogasbord. (DTS and DIF)
4. Under-Construction Pack: Tractors, bulldozers, and hard-hats! (DTS)
5. Landmark Pack: Landmarks from around the world! (DTS, possibly DIF)
6. Airplane Pack: Interior DIFs and/or Exterior DTS's of modern passenger, cargo, and jet planes (with props)!
7. Ship Pack: Interior DIFs and/or Exterior DTS's of modern or pre-modern naval vessels (with props).

And the list could go on and on...but I want to know what you guys need!

I've stayed away from character and creature packs not because we can't handle them, but because they are usually too unique for more than one person to make use of outside of just for learning. If you believe otherwise, please say so.

While you mentioned the specifics of human, etc characters... I do thin that a "skeleton" pack of boned "skeletons" for Lightwave, Blender, Maya and Max which conform to the rules of the included skeleton for Kork. That would make the application of things such as the ragdoll animation pack to any biped in the supported applications nice and easy.

Either that or a distinctive, professional art style. While Canon's art style is extremely distinctive so that using his stock art would be noticable, I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to use his contract services for contracting final art while using his amazing content packs as development and pitch artwork.

Quality, quality, quality. Look at the packs here for good examples. Also look at other places like 3DRT. Also include the source art to learn from and adapt.

as for your listed packs, I think the naval vessels would be fun.

We do intend on going for quality ;)

Unfortunately, we can't do the multiple skeleton pack simply because we do not have access to two of those applications.

The distinctive professional art style route sounds more attractive. We're not really looking into making money so much as obtaining publicity, so we may actually do that even if it means that it won't cater to a broader range of people.

Thanks for your input!
