Tribulation Earth

by Brian "Cybore" Smith · in Jobs · 03/03/2006 (5:37 pm) · 14 replies

I would love to get a team together for a new rpg/fps sci fi game. I have been working on an fps called Tribulation Earth, I've gotten very, very little done so far and would like to turn it into an rpg title with an fps twist. I've noticed alot of interest in mmorpg's on the boards lately and would love to get group together to brainstorm and start production. If anyone is interested, please contact me via the email address in my profile.

Thanks!

That would be great Mark. I'd love to have ya on the team, what would your specialty be?

Well I can do a little bit of everything - everything but program. (3d modeling, video editing/cutscenes is a specialty, web design, animation, textures (sort of).

I'm a bit new to Torque. I think it's best if I get involved in a project that will teach me more things along the way.

Also I know a concept artist that I could ask if he'd be interested in your game idea.. whatever that may be :) (or if you may need a concept artist)

Deus Ex: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/deusex/index.html?q=Deus%20Ex

Should check it on out, it's a bit old now but my friend and I used to play this game on the PS2 to death.

I could definately use help in just about everything you've listed, concept artist included. I do alot of modeling, mostly interiors, but need help in that area as well. If it's ok, I'll send you an email going into detail about the game and we'll start from there. If you have any ideas of your own, I'd love to hear them.

We still need more people for the team, if anyone is interested, please get in touch. We need programmers, artists, and a sound guy, just to name a few. If you want to get in on the ground floor of a new project, this could be what your lookin for.

Thanks!

Hi, Brian, I am a 50 year old programmer, mainly business programming for the last 20 years doing C, C++, VB, .Net. I have a huge interest in game programming. I bought TGE about 2 weeks ago and have been immersing myself in the code and scripting. I am lousy in artwork but I love programming. I especially love the subject of AI. I own my own copy of TGE and own Visual Studio 2005 Professional.

Well Met!

I'm a 3D artist using StudioMax 8 for .dts and Quark for .dif

I've been using StudioMax for about 8 years (started with R3 or 3.1), and I've been in and out of development teams for just as long. My main focus currently is architechture (sp?)

Do you have screenshots or a demo compiled yet? I do not, repeat, do NOT own Torque or the Torque ShowTool, which, I know, is very disappointing as a 3D artist, but I do plan to get the showtool as soon as I find a solid, consistent team.

My e-mail is nospam_infinitum3d@hotmail.com (remove the nospam_)

I'd love to hear more.
