Correctly animating a jump

Can someone help me out here, i have my jump animation in max that works fine but when i bring it up in the show tool it looks all jacked up. it lookes like he does not even leave the ground just goes through the movements. i tried animating the sequence to follow him onec as a whole and next just to follow the foot postion. or will it show up correctly in the game based on the programing?

Did you uncheck the Ignore Ground Transfor option in the sequence object?

Ignore Ground trasnform stops the model moving around in the game, it makes them animate on the spot when selected
