Are the private forums any good ?
I'm serously considering purchasing the engine license.
Will I find people sharing cool stuff like reasonable engine modifications
and helping to create good code ? I'm a programmer.
I know there's a problem for everyone with art, but does the community share engine
modifications ? are the mod's (if any) any good ?
I've seen this engine mod called fxSwarm, it allows bees and flyes to be added in
a swarm. Are there other things like this around.
Is there lots of stuff on TDN ?
Or will I find the forums lean.
Thanks,

I've found the private forums to be very helpful. I'm not a natural-born coder, but with a lot of help from the community, I've been able to get some cool features into my TGE powered app. A few of the resources are a bit out of date, which is understandable on a constantly forward-moving engine, but overall, I've had very good results with the forums, TDN and the resource pages.
I would definitely recommend getting the engine. I'm currently using TGE and starting to work with TSE and am loving both of them.
BTW, cool nick. :)
