Howdy guys.

Unfortunatily im new to all this,my mate has ran off with his computer to vagas and leaved me with evrything bar the thing I need,the documentation.

I think im doing OK with it but one thing is bugging me,is there anyway I can bring up a framerate counter in the world editor?

Cheers

John

You can bring up a frame rate counter in the engine, although I have a feeling that when you press f11 to go to the editor that it dissapears.
In the console type
metrics("fps");

If it does dissapear then you can go back to the console and press the up arrow to save you having to type it again :)

If you want to use other application, try Fraps, it is a neat video capture program, it will show your frame rate on the corner of your screen. very useful (i guess you can use the trial version if you only want to show the frame rate :P)
